Yesterday I met Msgr Lau and he told me about Fr Philip Heng meeting a parisher who is suffering from cancer so he told her if you believe and have faith drink the holy water from a church that is located near bandung. Apparently the church is built admist muslim community and there they build a statue and then they move it indoor in the church. when they do that they discover the spot where the statue was actually has a spring water flowing out from the earth beneath it. It seems it is pure spring water.
Next someone gave the local priest a rolled up note of about 2 million rupiah rolled in a rubber band and he left it on his desk. Strangely the office caught fire and burned and everything got burnt except that rolled up note of cash.
Again from these 2 events you can see God is working within our midst and more so especially when i ask why build a church among muslim community.
So he said Mother Mary is well liked by the Muslims community because her name Mary is Maria.
I dont know if the below link points to the church but it seems to be growing in numbers and faith. Thanks be to God.
