There are many capabable young and full of vigor and energy to enter politics which largely for the past 50 years have been helmed by the incumbent pap. Truth be told, it is easy to cheery pick on unpopular policies and stir up negative sentiment on the ground. I also agree some policies needs to be tweaked for betterment of society especially with growing affluence and educated population. If unpopular policies remains status quo then the tide will be against the ruling party favour for simple reasons of negativity. This ultimately may result in the lower and underpreviliged class of our society bearing the brunt despite the many recent knee jerk policies which you know. Be it pap or opposition, i only wish every new year is a better year for singaporeans and those living here. The mathematics is simple so the govt needs to get its coordination better aligned and do away with hard protocols. We are dealing with citizens not workers.
