during my years at Paya Lebar AMS I learnt the importance of runway maintenance imagine having tyre marks on the runway pounded by megatons of aircraft downward force with great velocity and deceleration and friction it makes me wonder if this due to the high volume of landings and takeoffs resulting in accumulated rubber and skid marks on the runway or is it due to simply the pilot's incompetence? First, I think we have to first seriously look at the issue of air traffic. Some diverted to Paya Lebar Airbase and others to KL and JB, this means we are grossly overloaded. This is an incident not to be taken lightly as a warning.
