RE: Reclusive Neil Armstrong recounts moon landing to accountants
NASA is one of my favourite beacon of institution in science, being an avid reader of science and cosmos I am always curious about life out there. Since the space shuttle program in the early 80s until their retirement recently I see less and less inroads in moon landing or mars exploration. I think NASA sent a robot to Mars probably due to its in habitable nature, again some say Mars used to be like Earth with rivers running thru its now desert like surface and others even claimed there was a war. Whichever it was, I believe Earth is the only habitable planet in the Solar system. In our Milky Way Galaxy there are many Solar system and many habitable planets like Earth. I think this is the only equation that life exist. Isn't it amazing? Have you look at the stars?
Armstrong interview clearly sends a message to many who are in authority and power that we must continue to live our dreams and asipre to be true leaders in their own field. Nowadays with the flood of information and data we are always punctuated by statistics and probability factor resulting is not being risk taker or as what the late President Kennedy say "not because they are easy but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organise the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we're willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone and one we intend to win." The question we should ask ourselves now is are we living in a fenced up environment or are we willing to live in an environment where we dare to dream and realise them. |
